Manually entered card payment

When a customer paid by card,I manually entered card number and it was declined.But the customer said it went through,and sent me screenshot of reciept.yet my end still says declined

Thank you for reaching out in the Community. 

 

Since the card was declined, it will clear from their account after several business days. If it takes longer than 5 business days, I would recommend the customer contact their bank. 

 

The funds were never collected since it was declined.

I entered several manual entries with credit cards after my square failed to connect all of a sudden to my phone. All the entires seemed to be successful with “approved” showing after each one. But the are not showing as transactions in my daily report. When will they show?

Successful transactions will show in the transaction tab, as well as your sales report. It might be worth checking that the date selector on your report page is set to the date you took these sales on. If you're still having trouble seeing your transactions after checking this, please reach out to our support team here. Unfortunately, we're not able to look into transfers, or transactions via this public forum.
