I am trying to send out my first invoice to be paid via credit card. However, the invoice as it appears in draft form and as the client sees it is missing the key: Make Payment button.
I selected Payment method, credit or debit card, so I figured this button would be added.
The QR code on the .pdf just goes to an electronic version of the invoice.
What do I need to have in place to have the: Make Payment function for credit card a reality?
Hey @ObvQue,
Welcome to the Seller Community!
Have you taken a look at your payment type settings in your Square app? If your invoice payment type button is disabled this may be a reason why your customers can’t make an invoice payment.

Hope this helps.
Resolution:
I was able to get on the phone with Square and confirm they now have my EIN number instead of SSN on the account.
I sent myself an trial invoice to verify that when you actually sent one out for real via e-mail, they did have the PAY NOW button on them to collect credit card information. Note: the PAY NOW button was missing when I looked at either the .pdf or the mock-up versions of the invoice in Square--something they should work on which would save some confusion.
Another suggestion for Square: I also had to add in my message my EIN number for the company, which should be an option.
But all is well that ends well, and I got paid quickly and easily and received a Credit Card payment for the first time into a business account with an EIN number on it using an electronic invoice. So YEAH!
yes i am glad you figured it out the pay now button is not on the preview
