Link Google Business Profile to Square Retail

As the title states, I am using Square for Retail.  I have a physical store location.  I would like to link my Google Business profile to my square account.  All the information I read/see online tells me to  go to Settings => Account & Settings => Business Information => Locations.  I should either then see a banner to link my Google Business profile or I should have to click on my location and then the banner will appear.  

My problem is I have no banner.  Square chat cannot help me and if I call Square customer service, I get transferred multiple times and twice now I have spoken to someone who claims it is a technical issue and that they will fix it in 1-2 hours.  Both times nothing has happened and I starting to believe that I am just being told this because the customer support agent has no idea of the fix.

Has anyone else encountered this and found a way to fix?

First, have you verified your business location with Google? I'm wondering if this could be why you aren't seeing the banner on your locations page. If not, you can learn how to verify your business on Google via the Google Help Center.
 

1. Google sends us the phone number/email to which the PIN should be sent.

2. Select between the option(s) displayed to receive the PIN.
