Landline Phone Notification

Hello,

 

When my client books an appointment, I receive automated phone calls on my business landline for any new bookings. I am unable to find the setting on the square appointment page. How can I disable that?

Thanks for bearing with me while we look into this @brightonhillpcy! The team have asked if you can try something and see if that would help: on your Appointments dashboard, click into Staff and your staff profile. In there, you should be able to untick the Text Message (SMS) notification.

I think because a landline is being used, rather than sending a text, is sending a call instead. Hopefully turning this off will help!

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Seller Community. I noticed it's your first post, welcome  🥳

 

This definitely sounds odd, and I can imagine how annoying it would be to receive a call everytime you receive an appointment booking. Can you check out your Square Appointment booking setting here, and your business settings here

Thanks for your reply. I have already checked the setting on those pages but there is no such option disable. Is there any other way?

I'm just stepping in for @Arie here, @brightonhillpcy! I have a dig around but I couldn't find where to disable this feature either, so I've reached out to our Appointments team to see if they can help provide further clarification. Once I have an update from the team, I'll be sure to follow up on this thread immediately.

I have changed the settings and booked one trial appointment. I didn't receive a call and hope it stays like that. Thanks for your help, appreciate it!
