Items not showing

i logged into my Square account to change a price on an item. From the dashboard I went to items > Item Library. I have at least 5 items with Square links. Nothing is listed. Why?

Hey @hiram, that does sound unusual, and I am happy to help.

 

Do you have more than one Square account? Are you logged into the correct one? When did you create the links for the items? Just to confirm, you created an item and then enabled a payment link for it? Is it just the link not showing, or the entire item?

Yes, I am logged into the right account. I created this item (the one for which I want to change the price) in early 2021 and have been using the link regularly. I have an additional 5 square.link items. I'd like to insert a screen-shot of my Items > Item Library with nothing showing, but clicking on the insert/edit image icon on this 'Reply' just brings up a dialog with 'Source', no browse option. I don't know what 'Source' means.

Try logging out of the community and then back in. That should provide you with the option to upload the photo.

 

Can you share an example of the payment link that isn't showing?

@hiram ;

See if you have a Filter to show All items where sold enabled.  I just looked at mine and some of my Items did not show up but are available for Sale online only.  Others are for Retail and Not online.  When I toggle between the two settings my Item Catalog changes drastically as I sell ALOT more in store than online.   It might be something simple like that.

Where would I find these "filters"? I can't tell what sub-menu you've selected under "Items ans Services". As you can see from my screen shot, my screen looks nothing like yours.

I am wondering if your Screen is different because Square is thinking you have no items.  

I just clicked Items Library and My items show up.   At the top of the Items you should have filters of Category and other filters you could apply if you like.  I have about 12,000 items in my Library and it takes some time to load my dahboard view fully.  The first Screen shows quickly then as I scroll down I need to wait to more items get added or populated.  I am not sure whay are screens look different.

I use Chrome Browser on a PC for these screen Shots.
