Issues importing items from square to online store

I followed the instructions on how to create a spreadsheet with products (by creating a product, then exporting it so you have all the right columns etc)  for my online store. Then I created my spreadsheet of products to import with in square. I kept it small so I could test how it works. First 5 went in fine. Then I decided to make some changes to those original 5 prices, and import 5 new ones too. So I chose under the import to  "modify item library".

Only it is NOT updating my existing items, it is doubling them up, and then giving me a listing error because I have 'duplicate variations'. What am I doing wrong?

I' really want to LOVE this new site building opportunity, but I'm about to tear my hair out trying get everything going....

Sounds like we're having some issues over writing your products in your Item library. Our Customer Success team can walk you through how to update this and correctly take care of it, and I'd suggest going that route by reaching out to them.

Most of the time the solution is easy, we'll just want to make sure you are replacing the items instead of adding to them library.
