Is there a way to remove the pop up after each item I scan? It’s taking 3x as long after update now.

Just got an update this last weekend and now after scanning each item a pop up appears saying “1 added”. The issue is you can’t scan the next item until it disappears and it’s causing us to take 3x as long to check each person out. Is there a way to remove it or turn it off so we can get back to a faster checkout time?

Using Square Retail on an iPad

I believe in a recent update, they started showing a popup every time you scan an item.  I am having an issue where while that popup is visible, all product scans are ignored.  I really think we lost a few items because we are used to scanning items in quickly and just listening for the beeps.  Anyone else having this issue or know away around it?

As a 2nd part of this, it would be great if we could turn the beep off on the scanner and have the iPad beep when it recognizes an item.  Often, I am still on the print receipt screen, scan an item, the barcode beeps but obviously the iPad doesn't register anything.  So in the above scenario, if square didn't add an item it wouldn't beep and I could know to try again.

I second This!!   This happened with version 6.14.1 in Square for Retail for me!    Can we go back to 6.13 somehow or disable the pop up stating the item is now in the cart that shows for 3 seconds after a scan.   I could scan an item 3 times an add it to the cart with a quantity of 3, now I scan wait 5 seconds then scan wait 5 seconds and then Scan.

UPDATE:

Just got off of Phone with Square and then tried scanning Items and NO POP UP now.

I use Square for Retail on a Square Stand so if you are using something else try uninstalling and reinstalling Square on that device.

What Version of IOS.... 16.3 What Version of Square 6.14.1....

Uninstall Square even though it was the Newest Updated Version

Reinstall Square for Retail...

So now that Black Box when Scanning is gone.

Checked which Version of Square I now have and say it is 6.14.1  but black box after scanning is gone....

Don't know what happened or what fixed it besides deleting Square off of IOS and Reinstalling it....
