Is there a way to add children/children’s birthdays to a customer record?

Hi 

I run a parent and baby focused business. We have a store (physical and online) and we also run classes for pregnancy and new parents. 

I notice in the marketing package you can collect the customer’s birthday for promotional purposes. But it would be much more useful for us if we could collect info about them as a parent ideally either being able to store a recorded of the number of kids and their birthdays directly on their customer record, or being able to link up customers in some way? 

is this something that is possible? Or does anyone have a good way of working around? 

the idea would be that if they have asked for promotional emails and told me they have a baby who turns one next month, I can send them birthday present ideas or ‘now you have a 1 year old these classes would be great next steps’ emails.

hey @AnnaBYLY - cool idea! 

There's not the option to record several birthdays but you can use the "Notes" option on their customer profile. This also lets you set reminders so you can set it to let you know about a kids birthday a week/month beforehand. 

You can add more than one note (each with it's own reminder) so this should work pretty well still if they have several kids or events you want to remember!
