Is it possible to add product images to invoices?

When creating an invoice, is it possible to add product images next to the line item?

Hi @MiniSplitSystem.  I wanted to be sure before I answered.  But after some research, it seems that what you want to do is not currently possible — ie - adding an image next to each line item.  The only workaround I know of is to manually add attachments to the invoices before you send them.  I understand that is not exactly what you want since you want the images to be included automatically, but it seems to be the best you can do right now.

 

To get the exact functionality you desire, you’ll need to head over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the Invoices Team.  That will start a review/evaluation process and you will be kept informed about Square’s eventual decision whether to add that to the product roadmap or not.

Hello @TheRealChipA ,

 

Thank you for your help, you mentioned the only workaround would be to manually add attachments to the invoices before sending them out, that is what I am currently doing, but when I preview, or view the customer's invoice, it doesn't show an image of the products the customer is purchasing. Is it supposed to show an image of the items? That is what I would like the invoice to do.

@MiniSplitSystem The actual invoice sent to the customer will have links to the attachments included with the invoice.  But the actual attachments are not shown in the email or preview.  There is a link in the email that opens a web page where customers can view the attachments.  I’m attaching a video of a test invoice I created.  It might take a few minutes for the video to upload, though.
