Interface constantly crashing.

I have been a square user for many years. In the last year I have had endless issues with the website interfwce crashing mid-invoice.

 

I will be entering the item information, quantity and price and the total remains zero. 

 

I have to reopen the page in my browser and re-enter all the information. Sometimes it takes it and sometimes the same thing happens 3 or 4 times before it actually goes through.

 

This is beyond frustrating. I hsve contacted customer support several times and the determination is that the problem is on my end. Theirnunwillingness to take responsibility infuriates me. 

 

This NEVER happens with a different processingbaccount I have with another provider.

 

Does anyone else  experience this problem?

I'm not able to view your Square account and Invoices via the Seller Community, like our Support Team can, but I can certainly offer some general troubleshooting tips that might help:

 

- Make sure your browser is up-to-date.

- Clear the cache on your browser. Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions.

- Switch to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome or Safari.

 

If none of these troubleshooting tips work, contact us with the following information:

 

1. The exact version of your web browser. To find this, visit whatwebbrowser.com.

2. Confirm the device you’re using (PC, Mac, iPad, Android device, etc.)

3. Include any applicable images or screenshots of errors you’re seeing. (For instructions on how to take a screenshot, visit take-a-screenshot.org)


If you are able to get a screenshot or video of this behavior when it happens, that would be super helpful in diagnosing the issue 🙂

I have not had any issues with the square website lately. Are you having this issue on other devices like your phone when you use the browser?
