Integrating square appointments with Google sites

Hi all,

I'm new to Square and would like to embed appointments within a website using Google Sites. I have the block of code provided from Square based on these instructions (https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5355-set-up-online-booking-with-square-appointments). When I try to embed the JavaScript code into Google Sites, the appointments render but it does not set the height and width of the component correctly. I have to scroll within the framed content (not the parent page) to see all appointments.

Any recommendations on how I can improve the look and feel of the widget within the parent site?

Hi @sbhachu, welcome to Square and the Seller Community 👋!

According to our team, the embedded code provide will pick a default size when you add it to your website. However, you should be able to resize the frame but this might require some developer knowledge as you'd need to add the iframe (what's defining the size of the widget) directly to the website and set the size to what you need it to be. I came across this tutorial but I'm not sure that's the best resource out there.

Alternatively, rather than having it as a widget, you could potentially create a button instead and link it out to the full booking site for a better experience.
