In person order tickets

We use Square for retail but have a lot of food and coffee sales in our small market. We set the printer to print those in person order tickets out with the small companion printout for the customer but notice there is no number or any type of identifier that links what we give the customer and the order ticket given to our staff. Are we missing something? The printout for the customer is basically useless without some way for our staff to call out when a particular order is ready.

Hello @Whiskeyhill thanks for reaching out, I am sorry you are having some issues getting the order number to show on your tickets. To confirm what type of printer are you using? What is a companion printout? Also, can you provide a picture/screenshot of how the tickets are printing out? Thank you!
