In Team App, why isn't one location showing up for one employee? It displays for everyone else.

My account has 3 locations and I use Timecards and Square Team App. I have enabled "Clock in/out from team app" in my Dashboard (timecards > settings > team app).

 

When my employees log in to their account in Square Team App, they can choose from 1 of 3 locations. Except for 1 person. He only sees 2 locations.

 

We have tested this in both iOS and Android apps, both the latest version.  The 3rd location does not show up on either device.  We have confirmed that this 3rd location does show up for other employees.

 

We have asked our employee to delete and reinstall the app and then log back in, and that did not help.

 

Any ideas why?

Hey @egreendelivery!

 

First, you'll want to make sure that your employees have locations assigned to them in the Team tab from the Dashboard.

 

To do this, you'll need to click on the team member's name, scroll down to "set up permissions" and assign the applicable locations.

I have two locations listed on square - our business and "production" which are both physically in the same building but I want to know my payroll costs for the front line and the production separately. I have given the employee access to both locations. How does the employee select the location where they are working?
