I'm trying to upload my excel spread sheet

When uploading my spread sheet I keep getting an error message.....All item variations must have an option set and an option. Update the missing option set in cell A2 for the item variation in row 2.  This is under the TOKEN column....which is supposed to be left empty!  HELP!!!  I'm so frustrated!  I have over 1100 items in the spreadsheet.  I downloaded the template, then copied and pasted the columns.  UGH!!!
