I have forgotten the access code to my ipad in the point of sale. I tried the code in my login and it doesn't work. It wants 2 more digits. do I put a 00 in front of it? I am locked out and apple says to restore and I don't want to lose everything I have done to set up
@kg8870 There are companies who claim to have apps that you can run on a computer connected to your iPad that will reset and unlock your iPad. I’ve never used one and, personally, I’d be very suspicious of such apps. The only way I know to fix this problem is to follow the instructions on Apple’s help page here — https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211078

This happened to me before on an Ipad and my only option was to restore it. It was backed up to my icloud account so I didn't lose any information. None of your Square info should be lost since that is saved in Square and not the actual Ipad.
I’m glad you mentioned that, @Doran . Nothing is lost as long as your iPad was connected to an iCloud account with backup turned on.
