I have a (original) online only business that sells quite a bit of product regularly and uses eWay as it's payment gateway.
However I have opened up a shop (second business with the same products) and built another website for this shop that has different pricing. The shop uses Square POS and and the website uses the WooCommerce square plugin to adjust iventory when a item sells in store on on the website. That's working how it should.
I want to have the original business/new shop with it's website ALL have their iventory adjusted when something sells in either location.
What's the correct way of doing this? I activated the Woocomerce Square plugin in the original business and set it to the new shop location and only enababled the square iventory sync preference . I made a puchase via the original website and it didn't adjust in square.
Also I only want the iventory to adjust and not any product information or catagories.
Hey there @KHB, welcome to the Seller Community!
The WooCommerce + Square plugin does not support multi-location integration. There is no way to have both of your sites updating their inventory simultaneously, unfortunately, as each site is considered its own entity for all intents and purposes.
The WooCommerce support team handles the integration between our two systems, and is really helpful regarding enquiries about matching inventories across locations, so if you contact them directly, they may be able to offer a solution for you!
Cheers!
Thanks for your help!
