I can't save a credit card on file - it wants more than 16 digits

Why when adding a new stored discover card it wanting more digits then the 16 but i can use the card manually entered just not as a saved it wont do it

What browser are you using to add the Card on File? Or are you adding it in App?  That'll give me some insight as to what is going on.
