I can’t get appointments to save?

Hi! This is a stupid question but I’m new to square. Every time I try to make an appointment, the save icon stays grey. I add the service, client, time etc but no matter what I change, it won’t turn blue and save, I’m not sure what I’m missing. However it does save when I create a personal event, so I have no idea what the problem is

I am a hairstylist and I was experiencing the same issue on my calendar, I had to go back to items & services and add a duration of time for each service.
