I am having trouble connecting my pixel 10 pro to the square reader

I am having trouble connecting my pixel 10 pro to the square reader.  I have followed all the instructions and it still does not work.  I believe mine is the first series of square readers

Is the reader up to date?  Which reader do you have?  According to this the 1st Gen v1-2 are not longer supported either..  I'm not sure if that is the one you have.

I think we are in the same situation, as I couldn't get our Square reader to pair with a Pixel 10 Pro nor a Pixel 10 Pro XL.  I tried an older Pixel phone that used to work with the reader, but that also failed.

It is probably as @Minion stated...our readers are no longer supported.

I have the exact same problem.  Seems the Gen 1 readers are just not compatible with the Pixel 10 Pro.

However, you can use Tap to Pay and not bother using the reader.  This is what I think I am forced to do.
