There's currently no way to generate a report of a customer's purchases via item and name - I've moved your post to our feature requests board so we can track demand for this feature moving forward.
In the meantime, you can gather this information from your Customer Directory. As long as you've been recording customer contacts on transactions, you can click on a customer contact and scroll to "Activity". Obviously it's not as elegant a solution as a report dedicated to showing this info, but it's there if you need it!
