Hi, I'm trying to find a way to remove the "Sell Online" button from emailed receipts generated from POS. We also have square online for exploration at this point but we do not want customers seeing our square website yet. Any suggestions?

So digital receipts will automatically add the Shop Online button if you have a published Square Online Store that is currently accepting orders.
If you are not currently using your Online Store to sell your products, I would recommend unpublishing it. Once unpublished, the Shop Online button will no longer appear on your digital receipts.

Hi @jhunter4. Can you post a screen shot of the “Sell online” button? I know there is a “Sell with Square” button that is optionally included by Square, but I am not aware of a “Sell Online” button.
Anyway, you can configure your receipts from your online dashboard > Account & Settings > Business Information > Receipts. If you did mean the “Sell with Square” button, at the bottom of that screen you’ll see a toggle to turn off the referral banner. You can also opt or not to display a link to your website but that shows a world icon, not “Sell Online.”
If that is not what you are looking for, a screen shot would help a lot.
Hi @TheRealChipA , here's a screenshot of the receipt. We're using Square for Retail when the receipt is generated. We also have Square Online, which could be where the "Shop Online" button is coming from. I have been able to find a way to remove it in the settings that your referenced.
