I have been using square pos for 4 years and it says I need to complete setup by importing my library. How and why should I do this?

Square offers the option to import your item library using a CSV or Excel file.
While this is not a requirement, we suggest doing so if your business already has an item library on a different platform that you can export, or if you have used a spreadsheet to manage your items before.
This feature is particularly useful for businesses with many items to manage since they can make bulk changes using a spreadsheet and then import the file once changes have been applied, instead of making changes to items one by one.
