How to correct payroll problem

I am trying to pay an employee who worked 70.35 hours. I have entered all regular hours and overtime hours correctly but for some reason square is automatically changing his 40 regular hours to 9.65 hours instead for a total of 40 hours only. It has been save this way and I can not physically change it. How do I correct this?

@JenBull Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Seller Community!

 

You will need the regular hours to equal the total hours including OT, then in the OT box put the number of OT hours. Meaning regular hours would be 70.35 & OT would be 30.35. It's like saying you are allocating 30.35 hrs to OT.

 

So, you will still put in your employee's OT, but you need the regular hours to equal all the hours including OT as well. To edit the hours, you have the option on the payroll dashboard to cancel the pay run. You can do that, re-enter the hours, and your employees will still get paid on time.
