I've got a square register that i want to use with a new profile. I've deleted my square account as I am transferring the register to a new account and am not using square anymore. However, even after deleting my square account, the register is still asking for a pin. It is not accepting my old pin anymore either. I've turned off my register, tried resetting it too, but nothing seems to be working. The register is stuck on the "enter pin" screen. Could anyone help please?

If you no longer need access to the Square Register through your old Square Account and just want to reset the device for the new owner, I recommend performing a Factory Reset on the device. This will allow the new owner to log in with their own credentials.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Press firmly on the Square Register power button for 20-30 seconds, located underneath the main screen. A screen with a countdown from 10 is going to appear, but keep pressing the power button until the countdown runs down to zero.
2. Once it reaches zero, you will get a screen asking you to release the power button.
3. Once the screen goes dark, leave the Square Register for 2-3 minutes before turning it back on.
If the issue continues after performing a Factory Reset, please contact our Support Team for further assistance. They may need to escalate the issue to our Engineering Team. You can reach our Support Team at 1800 760 137 (Mon - Fri, 9 AM - 5 PM Melbourne time).
