I just signed up. I opted into the payment processing but won't be using that for a while. Can I still set up the appointment schedule and website portion, or will it ultimately force me to go thru with the payment processing? Can I opt out of the payment processing? Can't find a way to opt out. Please help. I don't want to spent a bunch of time setting things up and then finding I can't proceed because of this.
Hey @Terrain and welcome to the Seller Community! You do not need to process credit cards if you don't want to. If you only want to use Square Appointments, then that is all you need to set up.

There's not a way to disable payment processing. The solution is to not accept card payments at your biz.
