I am trying to return a sale with gift receipt to e card but it asks for the 16 digit code which we don’t have unless we sell an e card first.

Thanks for bringing this up and sorry for the confusion. To start the process, you'll need to head over to the Transactions section in the app. You should be able to tap on Add Gift Card or Swipe after selecting the items that need to be refunded. Does that help get you to the right place?
