How do I undo a refund on a closed invoice?

I was trying to change the amount that was received in a check from a vendor thinking that was possible by refunding the amount. In hindsight, that was stupid, so now I'm trying to fix my mistake.

Great question! Refunds cannot be reversed, even as a check.

What is the difference between the amount you refunded and the amount you need to collect? Since it's a check you can enter that information in yourself.
