How do I get the free reader as I'm not seeing that there's an order in for me. It charges me when I go to order but says the first one is shipped to be free.

If that doesn't work, please let me know.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried the link to order but it still wants me to pay. If square is going to advertise a free reader than charge I'm very worried about trusting transactions to them.

How can I get a free chip reader. I don't need to put any money into this. I'm doing this for charity. Non-profit organization. I can send proof of that nonprofit organization if necessary. I followed all the instructions from several threads. But they lead nowhere. There are no options that are claim to be there. Is there any way that I can get a free chip reader?
After MUCH frustration I just learned that you have to buy it first then they will send you a code to redeem for the $10 reimbursement.
This from the Help:
They cost $10 up front, but come with a $10 redemption code. Once you enter the code we’ll send $10 to your linked bank account.
One redemption code can be claimed per Square account.
Help. I'm confused. It said I'd get a free magnetic reader yet wants to charge me $10????
Are you proceeding to the last step of the checkout, @ernie12345678? The charge will drop off as you go through the checkout process, as long as this is the first free reader you're claiming. Please let us know how you go!
