Devastated Square. A big flaw in your online offering. The reply I got
"Unfortunately the in-store and online prices sync automatically. There is an 'online sale' price but it doesn't hide the original price.
My recommendation would be to create item duplicates and show some online, with others in-store. Bear in mind stock control ought to be monitored on one or the other as it will not sync across both."
The whole point of using Square POS/Square retail+ is an All-in-One offering. I didn't want to use a 3rd Party software for inventory as well as Square. But now as I'm planning to go-online I've hit a snag. Square can not 'not show my By The Glass Price or DINE IN'
I'm not doing a duplicate then having to manually alter stock, allowing room for lots of error and extra work. And the Online Site looks un-professional, and I just know people are going to make mistakes, possibly think the By Glass price is the takeaway price.
I can't understand why.. Square can't implement a 'Deselect Variation for Online'
Just annoyed because now I'll have to look at Shopify etc. Or add in $999 for By Glass price, but it just **bleep**e.
Square can we do something here?? Anyone else got a work around?
