How can you require a code to ring up a sale in retail plus? We want to eliminate untracked sales.

Hello,

 

We are subscribed to Retail plus.

Our main goal with this subscription was to track sales to team members.

Currently, we have a lot of sales attributed to "untracked team members".

 

Is there a way to require a team member to input their code in order to ring up a sale so that no sales are untracked?

Hi @madeline7.  Since you are a Retail Plus subscriber, can I assume that you are using the Retail POS, and not the regular Square POS? If so, what does it say where I’ve circled?  It should have two initials after “Log Out.”  Anyway, click there and a screen should pop up for a team member to log in with their code.  After that, all sales should be attributed to that team member.  Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be Retail POS settings to require a team member number for each sale, so whoever you log in as will “get” the sales until they log out and someone else logs in.
