How can I recover lost content from a page?

I've just spent the day working on and editing a page.

After publishing the page, I navigated to the webpage to view it, and the page is showing where I was when I started this morning. Have I lost the last 7 or 8 hours of work?

I've logged back into Dashboard and navigated to the page I was editing.

It's all gone apart from the first hour or so worth of work this morning.

Is there a way to recover it?
