The title of this thread has been edited from the original: subscription fee.
I have sold my business to another owner and I been contacting Square for number of months to tell them to stop charging me for the subscription fee. Eli from customer support contacted me on 26 March 2025 asking for the permission to transfer the account to new owner's name. I gave the permission on the same day and despite doing that, Square is still charging me the fee. I even contacted my bank to raise a dispute and i got my money back last month. Guess what? they charged me again today. I'm sick of contacting them and frustrated. What should I do?

I’ve issued refunds for your April and June charges on both your Square Online Plus Plan and Square for Restaurants Plus subscriptions (as your May charge was already disputed with your bank). You can expect these refunds to post to your original payment method within seven business days.
Both subscriptions have also been cancelled to ensure you won’t incur any further fees.
