Having trouble processing visa debit

Hello,

I just had trouble accepting debit from a customer. She had one of those debit cards that is a visa debit. I had trouble with accepting debits card like this in the past. 

The first time she used it with me, it worked fine but today it didn't allow her. I used the tap option and the chip reader, both didnt allow me. Anyone havr any idea?

what do you mean it didn't allow you?  what response did you get in the app, declined, unsupported, something else?

I see now that you may be in Canada, and debit only works with tap and it must me and interac debit card.
