Ghost Refund from Square has taken money from me

Square has stolen money from me,

On 2/13/2024 Square Deposited $14,700 into my bank account. There was a charge on this deposit that square had questions about so they set a hold on the funds and initiated a withdraw from my bank.

I showed square all of the correct information to show the transaction was valid, by the way the transaction in question were on 2/10/2025 for a combined total of around $6,600

I quickly responded to square and they resumed regularly scheduled deposits. But the withdrawal they previously scheduled had bounced due to their being no money in the bank account.

I recently got a new purchase for $4,581.75 and in my square balance it shows -$1,929.96 which they then withdraw from my bank account but instead of going through it bounced and the reflected in my square balance

So in total I was paid the $14,700 & $4,581.75 of deposits which were made by customers but yet they take the $4,581.75 plus an extra -$1,929.96 to account for the ghost withdrawal

I am owed $4581.75 + the $1,929.96 you guys decided to steal from me.

anyone can help?

Hey there @PictonLuxury.  This is a seller to seller help board.  For account related questions, you need to contact customer support.  There has been some form of mixup, I’m sure, and they should be able to help you resolve it.  Bu Square did not decide to steal money from you.  I wouldn’t be so quick to throw around accusations and libel without all the facts.  Good luck.  Suggestion — when you talk to a human being at Square support, I’d recommend losing the attitude.  It will make your experience quicker and more satisfactory.
