Embed Telephone Links in Marketing Email?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Phone Number URL in Email Marketing

When we send out Square Marketing emails, we like to post our phone number using the tel: URL protocol so customers can call us. While other email platforms support this, Square does not. Seems like a bug.

This is an interesting one, indeed. I did some research on my side to see if embedding direct phone links to marketing and receipt correspondences was possible, and for the time being it looks like this remains a Feature Request. I think this would be a great addition to our Marketing products, though! 

I'm going to flag this over to our Product Teams for future consideration. Should anything come down the pipeline from this, we would update you here.
