Email notifications

How do I stop square sending me an email everytime anyone makes a payment?

I have been to settings, email notifications, transactional emails, per payment is unticked, but they still just keep coming!

I just want a daily summary

Hey @garyconrad, thanks for joining the Seller Community and welcome.

 

You can edit your email notification preferences from your online Square Dashboard > Account & Settings > E-mail notifications. 

 

I'll leave a screenshot with the list below, you can turn off the transaction notifications and leave the sales summary on, along with a few more options.

My settings are exactly as you have shown,  especially with the "Per payment" box unticked

But the emails still keep coming everytime there is a payment

That definitely doesn't sound like intended behaviour @gardconrad. 

 

Is this happening for every single transaction even while having the option within notification preferences turned off? If so, at this stage I'd suggest getting in touch with our support team directly. They have access to check settings on the backend that we don't have here on Community. Thanks, let me know if there's anything else I can do.
