Edit item screen not the same per browser

So I'm hoping that someone can help me. I work on items both at home and at the store. Use the same web browser in both locations. When editing items at home I can't see stock I have to add that column every time I go into an item in order to see stock. At work I see the stock column.

This is certainly unusual! I'm wondering if you can include some more information about the steps you're taking to edit your items, for example, are you editing a single item at a time, or are you using the bulk edit tool or item import tool?


Additionally, are you able to confirm whether you currently have multiple locations set up on your Square account?

As a first step, it might be worthwhile checking to ensure you're using a supported browser running the most up-to-date version. You can use these steps to help check this on both devices.

I can use both. However I'm usually editing a single item with multiple variations. In part because square doesn't have a good working bundle system some I'm having to edit stock alot.

 

I've got a single location.

 

I'm using chrome on both computers and they're both up to date. I have no extensions. If I use firefox it's fine. Weirdly this same thing happens on the edge browser as well and if I go into incognito on both of the browsers that don't show the stock level I can see the stock level.

Hey there @gduncan229 stepping in for @Loren1  while she is off right now. I just want to confirm so we are on the same page. When you are in incognito mode you can see the stock level, but If not then you cannot. Do you happen to have a screenshot or video of what you are seeing?

So I figured something out. So on the work computer everything works fine. No issues.

 

The home computer doesn't have the stock column, nor could I add it.

 

I was testing on the home computer and when I removed the sku column from the variation area the stock levels popped up again on the home computer. So there's some kind of issue where on the home computer the stock column disappears if the sku column is there. That for whatever reason doesn't affect the other computer.
