E-Gift Cards for Multiple Locations Transfer

We are looking to sell e-gift cards online valid at multiple locations.

The website "location" does not have banking information attached.

We need the payment to remain in the Square account until the gift card is used, at which time it's transferred to the bank account linked to the location.

Otherwise, there's no income for the location when the gift card is used.

@buygrimsby That's not how Square's gift cards work, I'm afraid. By default, the gift card purchase is deposited next biz day to your linked bank account automatically. 

I suppose you can enable manually transfers which allows you to hold the gift card purchase in your Square Balance and manually transfer to your bank account when you choose, but then all sales will be held.

Thanks @JustinC.  I understand why that makes sense for physical gift cards, but I can't understand the current functionality for e-gifts.  I tried the manual option, but I can't seem to find a way to transfer to a location, only to the selling org.

@buygrimsby I'm stepping in for Justin since I came across this thread. You will not be able to transfer sales or an account balance between locations. The only way to get the funds from your Gift Card location to your bank will be to link your bank account to that location.
