My business works where I bill a base monthly fee but usually there will be upcharges for certain things which I would add to the bill each month. If I switched to a recurring series and enabled ACH payments with allow automatic from bank on file am I allowed to edit the invoices month to month without it requiring the customer to re-approve or re-input their bank information again?

At this time recurring invoices series can be edited. However, since this is not the intended use this will not modify already created invoices. It is a complicated process as you would have to edit the Recurring Series before in creates the next invoice for your customer.
