Desired Arrival Date for Shipping and ability to inform customers of what days we ship.

My business is a small batch bakery and only ships Monday-Wednesday of each week.

It would be nice to black out dates that shipping is not available rather than toggling off shipping completely. 

It would be a great addition to allow customers to select a desired arrival date as an option to add for shippments.

During check out when people are entering their shipping information it would be helpful to inform them when their items will ship next pending on the prep time. For example, if the order is placed by noon on Wednesday we will ship same day but if the order came through at 12:30 we would hold it until the following shipping day. 

Possibly making it a per item option. 

For instance, we only ship our cinnamon rolls on Tuesday and Wednesday. So have an option to select date and show it to customers that those are the dates we ship on..?

Hi @Colies Thanks for posting. Can you please confirm that you are referring to shipping through a courier service like USPS or UPS? It wouldn't be possible to allow the customer to choose a specific delivery date, but they could probably reach out to the courier company to arrange a special delivery. 

 

Have you had a chance to setup your shipping polices for your website? The editing option is under Settings > Checkout > Shipping Policies.
