Is there a way to delete or request for the ability to delete unneeded estimates. I understand having an archive can be useful for posterity, however, the amount for the estimate still shows even when the estimate is no longer valid. This creates confusion and aggravation as im trying to plan out the finances of my business.
Hello, @DendePhotos - Welcome to the seller community.
We'd be happy to take a closer look into this with you. Estimates can only be archived, they cannot be deleted at this time. Where are you seeing the amount of the estimate, is this showing up under reports or your estimate tab?
They show up in the primarily in the Overview tab of the invoice section.
Thank you @DendePhotos for providing more details. If you are seeing the estimate amount reflected in your sales report located in your Square Online Dashboard > Reports then you will need to give us a call so we can take a closer look and open a ticket with our engineers.
When it comes to reconciling your sales, only the sales that have been processed should be showing up in your account and sales report NOT your estimate amounts. The Square Sales Report provides a general overview of sales from a given time period. The report includes itemization metrics like gross sales, refunds, net sales, discounts, tips, and taxes. It also includes payment metrics like total collected (revenue by tender type) and fees. You can find more details on Summaries and Reports from the Online Square Dashboard here.
Please let us know if you have any other questions so we can assist you further.
Have a wonderful day. 😃
