I sell through Square online (by shipment only). I have a customer that ordered an item on May 27th and wants the shipment delayed until June 21st as she is currently in the process of moving from Texas to New York. I believe I remember reading that Square automatically refunds the customer if the order has not shipped within a certain amount of time. Is that correct? I have marked the order as 'in process' but I can only print the USPS label 7 days prior. I just want to verify that Square will not cancel and refund automatically. Thank you 🙂
@ThePixie - Square will not refund your customer with you taking the action to do so.
What you may be thinking of is the process for you to purchase a shipping label through Square. If you purchase a shipping label, our partner Shippo charges your billing method. However, if that label is not used within a certain period of time, the label will be canceled and the cost will automatically be refunded to you by Shippo - no action required on your path.
