Date and Time not working in mobile version of contact forms

The date and time boxes in contact forms don't seem to work correctly on mobiles. On a desktop version of the website the date and time fields bring up a picker box to select a date/time respectively, however, on mobiles it only inputs the current date and time when a customer selects it. We have had feedback from 3 customers regarding this issue saying they weren't able to complete the form because of this.

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having trouble with the mobile online store!

 

I took a quick look at the website you've listed in your Community profile but unfortunately wasn't able to test as it looks like you're not taking orders at the moment.

 

In any case, I'd actually be getting in touch with our support team about this one to take a further look into how the account is set up and to see if they're able to replicate the issue once you have orders turned back on. You can call our support team on 1800 760 137. Lines are open Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Melbourne time. If this is clearly not working as intended they'll be able to either file a bug report or forward the case on to Weebly to file!

Hi Seamus, 

 

We have reopened the store.

 

Specifically the event form Events , we have changed the wedding one to be just a text box to bypass this issue temporarily.

Hey @aplozza,

 

I checked your Events form and it seemed to be working fine on an iPhone using Safari. The date does default to today's date, but that is easily editable.

 

I'd definitely get in touch with support for this one for further troubleshooting - maybe it's restricted to certain mobile web browsers?

thank you for checking.

 

I can confirm that on my Samsung s20+5G those fields are not editable after its selected. I even tried changing the orientation on my phone to see if the page responsiveness is the issue, but still not success.

I should add, 

 

I was using both Chrome, Microsoft Edge for android and Samsung Internet and all had the same experience.
