I have just added a custom domain for my square site. The domain correctly brings up the site, but whenever I try to make a purchase, it gives me a "your cart is empty" message, not the item I wanted to purchase.
If I use the site with the previous square address I had prior to upgrading (square.site) it all works just fine.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for sending that on @AandMEvents! I just want to check the domain www.thestreetfoodbox.co.uk is definitely connect to Square? When I click on the link, it said the site is currently under construction. I had a look at the DNS record and it doesn't look like it has been connect or direct to the Square Online site yet.
To direct this domain to Square, please try following the steps outlined here.
Thank you, I didn't realise I needed to do that. Just changed the DNS settings. Do you know how long it takes for it all to work properly. The www.streetfoodbox.co.uk does now take me to the square sales website, but I can't put anything in the basket and the streetfoodbox.square.site doesn't do anything. The domain is also showing as not secure when you visit.
I am assuming that this is just because it takes time (literally just changed the DNS), but can you reassure me as I need to take orders for this week.
Hey @AandMEvents, I've checked this morning and the website https://www.thestreetfoodbox.co.uk/ is fully secured now! When you update the DNS record, it can take up to 48 hours for the site to change over and come up as secured. I've tested this on my end and was able to add item to cart, so customers can start placing orders now.
