Contactless reader will not connect to my device

My contactless reader has worked fine paired to my android phone for 8 months. Suddenly it will not connect to my phone. Orange lights just keep flashing but it never connects. I have gone through multiple trouble shooting steps as recommended. I have made certain all necessary settings are on on my android. Have done hard reset on reader a few times. As stated, I have exhausted all possible recommendations on here. I am at the point where it must be that the Bluetooth in the reader must have stopped functioning. My phone is still pairing through my car Bluetooth so I am certain it is not my phone. I also made certain that the correct cereal number appears when the app is open. Please advise... Thank you!
