I have a "Connection Not Secure" issue with a Weebly site with a domain from Zyro. I've contacted them regarding the instructions given when I try to enable SSL. I will attach an image of my domain records. The site is www.possummountain.com. Thank you!!!
Hi @Clc89
Your SSL was not enabled under Edit Site > Settings. I enabled it for you, but it looks like you need to make some changes to your domain DNS.
Once you make these domain changes, it can take up to 24-48 hours for the changes to update across the backend. Once the domain has fully updated, the SSL will start working properly and the site will load securely.
Hi Bernadette! Thanks for your reply. When I go in to settings it still says it's not enabled and gives me the option: "Enable". I went over to my domain registrar and changed the IPs to match the ones you gave in your reply. I've never had any AAAA records so I didn't make any changes there. This was all done 48 hours ago and I'm still getting the same warning. At one point this weekend the site wouldn't load at all because of the security issue in any browser. I contacted the domain registrar and they don't know what's causing the problem either. Anything else I should check or try? Youre the best!
Hi @Clc89 😊
It looks like your site is loading properly now. I'm not sure if you needed to re-enable the SSL after making the changes, or if it automatically started working after propagating the new IP addresses. 🤔
The prompt to delete the AAAA records threw me off as well, because I didn't see any on a public DNS info page. Did you need to speak with direct support with domain provider or Square/Weebly, or did the site just start loading properly on its own:?
