Compatible with Samsung A51?

I am considering upgrading from my current phone to the new Samsung A51, but when checking the compatibility with the Contactless + Chip reader, found that it is not listed as a tested device. I was wondering if anyone has tested this phone for themselves, and if it is compatible or not with the card reader. I'd rather know that now before buying the phone, as that would be a pretty big turn off from the phone.

At the moment unfortunately the A51 and A71 both remain untested for compatibility with Square. Sometimes untested devices will incidentally work if they meet Android operating conditions, however we can't guarantee ongoing compatibility for them.
