Choose two

I just recently started selling stickers and want to offer a discount for purchases of more than one.  I set up a second item ("two stickers") but I don't know how to make the modifier so the customer can choose just two instead of as many as they want at the discounted rate.

Is there an easy way to limit how many they can select?

At this time there is no specific way to keep a discount from be applied to the sale. You can put a management code in place with Team Permissions that would allow you to restrict who can apply this discount, and then only apply it to the ones you want, but as of right now, the discount applies to the sale.

Would a flat dollar amount discount be a better solution for you?

@kellyj

A flat dollar discount is what I was planning, but these are the different items I want to have on my square website:

1 sticker (full price)

2 stickers, you choose two (flat $ discount)

5 stickers as a complete set (no choices)

I understand there are modifiers, but there's only "choose one" or "as many as you want" options, as far as I'm aware.  Is there another way to do this, or something I'm not thinking of?

Unfortunately that is probably the best way to deal with this at this time. You can make each as an Item and make it as it's own item instead of a modified, but those would be the different options.
