Checks closed out remotely not clearing from POS

When we close a check out remotely (on the floor with the app), the transaction clears but the check remains on our POS dashboard.  We have to turn off the iPad and restart to clear them all out.  This started about 2 weeks ago.  This is causing great confusion with staff as to what checks are open and what is closed and paid.  We are using android phones with the app and an iPad for pos

Hey there @The_Good_Life.. This sounds suspiciously like something has gotten corrupted in either your Android or iPadOS app.  Have you tried the nuclear option -- deleting and re-installing apps?  If not, I'd recommend that first -- start with the iPad, but don't be surprised if the problem is in the Android's and you need to delete/re-install there.  Quite often this will fix whatever random problem has cropped up.  Try that and let me know if it doesn't work.
