I’m looking at buying the square terminal  machine but wanting to know weather it will work on the go away from WiFi. 
would like to be able to take card payments at customers doors on delivery. 
can this be done with this machine??

The Square Terminal does need an internet connection at all time to process payments. If there is no WiFi network available, you can connect it to the hotspot on your mobile to take payments that way so you should be able to use it to take payments upon deliveries! 

For payments on the go like that, the Square Reader might be a better fit as it's much smaller and easier to carry around.
